Landscape Architects -  Denver, Colorado / Tucson, Arizona:  Your Landscape Solutions by Tom Stephens - Landscape Architect. Creative Landscape Designs, Xeriscape & Outdoor Living Spaces

References
We have retained Tom Stephens as Landscape Architect for two challenging projects and as a result of his work, we are pleased to recommend him.

Our home in Castle Pines, south of Denver, Colorado is placed on a steep hillside and we wanted to be able to entertain groups of up to 250 outdoors.  Tom solved numerous design and engineering problems in order to accomplish our goals, helped us select a landscape contractor and supervised the execution of the plans to our satisfaction.

Our Aspen home is over 12,000 square feet and placed on a 70 acre sloping lot.  He successfully incorporated our desire to have the best possible presentation of our home, space for our children to safely play, and our desire for a one acre pond in a semi-arid environment.

I believe that Tom has excellent design sense, a sensitivity towards the environment and to saving water, plus the ability to work successfully with the client so that satisfaction gets created.  Obviously, we recommend him highly.

Thank you for the excellent presentation you gave to a standing room only crowd at the library.  There is a great demand for xeriscape and xeriscape design.

This is written to give my unqualified recommendation to Tom Stephens as a landscape architect.
He drew the plans for my landscaping three years ago.  I followed them and since that time I have had continuous plaudits from innumerable persons -- those in the neighborhood and those merely passing by -- because of its good looks.
The biggest advantage, however is the easy maintenance to keep it looking beautiful and the resultant savings in monetary expense (It is Xeriscape modified by colorful flowers).  Lawn mowing is once a month, and water usage low.
Mr. Stephens, of course is a well-known Landscape Architect and has taught the course in college for a number of years -- long before Xeriscaping became the popular idea it is today.  He is also a coauthor of a Xeriscape book that is nationally recognized.
I find his charges to be reasonable and his services prompt and on schedule.  He is probably not the cheapest -- but, in my book, he is certainly the best.
